PKMNation: It only goes South from here

It was a dark and stormy afternoon, the perfect setting for any gloomy horror movies that would make you wet yourself. But this horror was much worse, for today was the day Chrom would learn a very valuable lesson, that would change his life forever...

The wind howled and discouraged further movement toward the enemy as Alloy felt it fight against him, whipping his fur and ears furiously. He thought he might get blown away had he not been clinging to the ground for his life. The tall grass been thrown in his face wasn't helping the matter either as he needed to relocate his foe.
Decora, his wife and queen, was not to far from his side. She seemed to had more strength and endurance in this weather than he did, and seeing her push through gave him more strength to carry on.
However, even in this horrible weather conditions, the local Honchkrow and his gang managed to keep perfect balance amidst all chaos. Alloy took his first shot at the foe by leaping with all his might, appearing from his paw was Metal Claw. And as he swiped mere inches from Honchkrow's wing tip, all was in vain as he was swiped back easily with Night Slash.
Seeing her mate in trouble, she screamed a Disarming Voice as a desperate attempt to catch him off-guard. It managed to miss however, but it did free Alloy from Honchkrow's grip, allowing him to take advantage and finally land a blow with Metal Claw.
That's when the murkrow dive-bombed Alloy to protect their boss from further harm and allowing him to retreat to a safe distance in the air once more. Although the murkrow were not very strong, each pursuit managed to land and take a lot out of Alloy, and they left him to return to Honchkrow to better view their dirty-work.
The Honchkrow smiled an eerie smile then boasted, “Maybe now you plan to give back the land that was rightfully ours? Nyuk nyuk...” His murder laughed along after him and began to tease the Royals.
“Ooh we're so uptight and fussy, anything will ruffle our hide!” they laughed.
Decora was upset by their words and fired a powerful Moonblast straight at the boss, however, it was easily dodged.
“Nyuk, nyuk...and your wife has the aim of a blind Wailord!!” he and the rest of the murkrow taunted again.
Alloy slowly got to his feet and with a heavy breath he spoke, not weak but powerfully, “Head my words, Raven Kaw, by order of myself and for the good of my Kingdom,” he stood up straight and proud, “Leave,...NOW.”
“Hehehe, or what, dog? Have you no vision to see that I have won? Or shall I blind you with my talons to prove it??!!” Raven Kaw yelled furiously.
And out of nowhere, little Chrom made his way onto the battlefield, and placed himself between Raven Kaw and his father. “Listen now, filth! My father is the rightful ruler of this land, and even more so, Aura!! This land is not yours!” Chrom felt proud and invigorated to finally be beside his father in the heat of battle, but...it was short lived. For just as soon as Chrom smiled to his father after giving his rebuttal, he turned in horror to face Raven Kaw's talons just before his eyes.
And it seemed, in that moment of time, he was able to look at his mother, who was in tears and running for her life towards him. Then he turned to his father who was leaping out above him and to shield him from certain death. He cried out in terror, for he knew his father's plan, and by the time Raven Kaw's talons made impact, it was too late...
But the strike was more powerful than anticipated, and even though Alloy had cushioned most of the blow and lay on the ground unconscious, Raven managed to impact Chrom as well. Decora managed to catch Raven in remission and bit down as hard as she could onto his neck fluff, using Draining Kiss in the process. Raven tried to shake her but she wouldn't let go until she knew he had enough, then set him free and fired Moonblast as a final warning.
Raven Kaw and his murder had no choice but to retreat, he turned back to yell, “This won't be the end of us! But it looks like the end of your precious roya-KAWW” he was interrupted by a strong Discharge that came from none other than Aquarius.
“AND STAY AWAY YOU HEATHENS!!!” Aquarius snorted and watched to make sure they were all long gone. He then quickly turned to Decora and the injured with remorse, “I-I'm sorry, your highness, that I was not able to aid you sooner, I-I...” He was almost in tears as he stared at the seemingly lifeless bodies before him.
Decora however, was busy listening to their chests and feeling their wrists with her ribbons. She finally said, “Quickly, you must help me take them to Aura. Immediately.”
“Yes, your highness.” Aquarius bowed and Decora helped Alloy and Chrom onto his back and they ran steadily side by side back to the mansion.


It was hours before they heard any word about Alloy and Chrom's progress, but as soon as Aura walked through the door of the Recovery room, they were given a grave look.
Aura took a moment to collect her thoughts, “I-I...It's...Look, Alloy and Chrom are alive and will continue to steadily get better.”
Aquarius whinnied, “That is excellent news!”
Decora wasn't buying it, “And what's the bad news?”
Aura nervously played with her gloved hands, “Okay, the bad news is...Alloy lost his left eye...it was unrecoverable and the scar across it is staying as well...As for Chrom...”
Decora grabbed Aura's hand with her feelers, “Is he...?”
“He'll be fine, he's lucky he used his face-mask to block most of the blow...whether it was on purpose or accident, it saved him from a nasty blow to the chest. He'll be fine and ready to go as soon as he wakes up from the shock. However, Alloy will need to stay a few more days with me so I can break the news when he wakes up and help him recuperate. Do you think you can handle the ranch on your own?”
Decora sighed and waited before answering, “Of course dear...I'll keep her in good hands...” she  then jumped up onto Aura's chest and looked her dead in the eyes, “You just promise me to return my husband in full health.” She smiled her warmest smile and gave Aura a hug before departing towards the Council's room with Aquarius close behind.
